Facebook might be taking longer to go public than many predicted, but that doesn't mean you can't own a piece of it right now. SecondMarket is a New York City based startup that operates markets for various types of illiquid assets.


Last spring, SecondMarket added private company stock to the list of assets it trades. And by a huge margin, the most-traded company in that market is Facebook.
