These app store analytics are fine as far as they go, but they don’t go far enough to be useful to marketers.
What would be useful is an ‘app chart’ app that allows you to view charts by consumer brand categories; fmcg/cpg, auto, health, fashion, luxury, retail, media, tech, banking etc – and that covered both Android and iOS app stores (and perhaps Blackberry) for all local markets and regions.
